Resumen
La familia es la primera institución educativa, su dinámica, media el
aprendizaje y desarrollo de sus miembros cuyo objetivo sería formar a la
persona, a partir de su núcleo espiritual, mediante la comunicación de
valores, para que llegue a un compromiso personal y social.
Los altos niveles de cariño, combinados con niveles moderados de control
paterno, ayudan a que los padres de familia sean agentes responsables
en la crianza de sus hijos, que los niños se vuelvan miembros maduros y
competentes de la sociedad.
Por otra parte, la jornada de trabajo de los miembros de la familia
evidencia que un porcentaje alto, labora la mayor parte del día. Esta
situación puede influir en que los padres dispongan de poco tiempo para
acompañar a los hijos en las responsabilidades escolares, dado que la
gran mayoría de ellos se encuentran todo el día fuera de casa. En la
observación se vivencia que muchos niños quedan solos en sus
viviendas, situación que obliga a que tengan la necesidad de recurrir a
vecinos, líderes de la comunidad y hermanos mayores para cumplir con
sus deberes escolares; además, su tiempo libre lo dedican a ver TV, jugar
y permanecer en la calle
