observar que no hubo relación estadística tomando en cuenta que el valor de p es > a 0.05;
The objective of this study is to stablish the relationship between nutritional status and eating habits in interns from the Dietetics and Nutrition career considering both May and September cycles. A descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design was applied, involving 64 inmates from the University of Guayaquil. The results of this research showed that 68% of inmates had a normal BMI, in terms of the correlation between BMI and Eating Habits, it was observed that there was no statistical relationship considering that the p-value is > to 0.05; similarly, it was observed that between neck index and eating habits the value of p is > to 0.05 so there is no relationship between the variables studied, the data collected are not strong enough to indicate that the level of practice of healthy habits affects the cut-off points of the body mass index and also in the condition of high or normal cardiometabolic risk according to the index of neck whose value was p x 2.33.
