Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2022-04) Campos Valencia, Silvia Luz; Flor Vera, Cinthia Jacqueline; Morales Jaramillo, María AntonietaThe aim of this educational project was to create a useful resource for Third Baccalaureate students as a supportive tool to improve writing skills and its processes, in this way, an online didactic guide was structured in order to strengthen and enhance academic writing production based on students’ outcome profile, at the end of high school. This guide will provide a wealth of knowledge based on activities focused on the growth of writing skills. Meanwhile, the general objective was to determine the importance of interactive strategies that can be currently used, considering virtual education and technology to take advantage of, for efficient development of writing skills through exhaustive research work to design an online didactic guide that will benefit students with the purpose to upper English proficiency in B1 writing level. Additionally, this research work was carried out through qualitative and quantitative methodology. Indeed, this study allowed authors to find out relevant data related to the problems of students in the academic writing production using these important instruments: class observation, survey, and interview. Ultimately, teachers will utilize this guide in accordance with students’ academic growth with interactive strategies focused on prior knowledge activation and motivation.
