- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoThe influence of ludic activities in the development of reading comprehension(Universidad de Guayaquil Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2019-09) Cascante Aldaz, Pedro Julio; Anaguano Pérez, SaraThis investigation studied a problem of written expression found in the students of fifth grade of Basic General Education, room C, of the Costa Rica Educational Unit. Academic writing is a useful skill that students can learn. Employ skills that they will use when they have a job and to serve in the community. Students begin to feel more confident with the expressions they use. It is a great skill and easy to teach. In addition, the research instruments applied were observation, survey questionnaire and interview, with a population of 26 students. Unfortunately, most teachers do not see the benefits of acquiring a skill such as reading. And they still use a common and boring methodology. This is the reason why this work aims to demonstrate the ease and importance of learning a skill read that students might have before going to high school. So they can go to high school with all the academic knowledge that academic reading will teach them. The value of students' thoughts will change to improve on themselves. Learning academic reading will open a new world of knowledge. As stated before the objective of this project is to give some advice on the easiest way to teach academic reading to students in fifth grade. Exercises such as organizing the paragraphs in the correct order and remembering that the subject of a paragraph should logically follow the theme of the last paragraph should give rise to the subject of the next paragraph. Students love this type of training when teachers kindly and lively propose it. For the development of this research, a field modality was applied, since the information was obtained directly from the public school.
