This process was carried out after a bibliographic study that provided significant support to achieve the interrelation of the variables. CARRERA DE LENGUA Y LITERATURA INGLESA O FRANCESA O ITALIANA O FRANCESA O ALEMANA. the quali-quantitative method was applied, which allowed the application of instruments and techniques such as the survey, interview and observation used for the collection and analysis of data, which allowed the researchers provide help to improve a deficiency presented in the students' speaking, through the use of communicative activities that allow the development of this skill in the English class; a booklet of activities based on the drama technique is proposed by the researchers that achieves through constant practice to reach level A2 in this skill.

Therefore, it is very important that the tutor becomes familiar with more effective ranges, strategies and methods for influencing the basic vocabulary to reinforce it with ludic activities of EFL which emphasizes this summary, is aimed at designing a guide with exercises based on the basic vocabulary, which aims to promote English with greater motivation. Vocabulary knowledge is a key component of comprehension and is strongly related to overall academic performance. Students need to understand and l Academic vocabulary as a primary key that involves all content areas to fully develop conceptual understanding (Dugan, 2011, p. 4). To learn EFL, it is important to recognize it by listening, speaking, reading and writing. Therefore, it is necessary to manage the vocabulary in the four skills, so it is necessary to give credit to the knowledge of words. On the other hand, it is affirmed that the understanding is enabled when the readers construct models of mental circumstances that integrate the elaborated information based on the text with the previous knowledge obtainable of the reader. Situational models are flexible mental representations that are continually updated to reveal the most recent conceptualizations of content information read (Woolley, 2011, p. Xiii). As a consequence of vocabulary and understanding, learning is more than decoding words, it goes beyond interpretation.

Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2022-04) Jiménez Ruiz, María Mercedes; Torres Barahona, Hellen Eliana; Bravo Bravo, Israel GuillermoThis research project was carried out to identify the influence of the Scanning technique on reading comprehension in English of the students of the First year of Baccalaureate of the Educational Institution "Provincia Del Azuay", school year 2021 - 2022, some of whom presented deficiencies in this skill. The types of research used in this work are: descriptive, explanatory, and non-experimental. Different methods were used to carry out this research such as: analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, statistical methods, in addition to instruments such as interviews, surveys and observation guide. These instruments were applied to the teacher and the students to collect and corroborate information. In relation to the results of this research, it was determined that the use of the scanning technique would help students improve their reading skills. The proposal of this thesis is the design of a didactic guide with the exploration technique in reading comprehension for level A2.2.

Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2022-04) Vera Calderón, María José; Zúñiga Villegas, Arturo Eduardo; Bravo Bravo, Israel GuillermoThe authors of this thesis present a series of theoretical bases that confirm that if students previously study a vocabulary based on the topic studied in class, they will be able to understand the topic appropriately and effectively. To reach this objective, it is recommended the implementation of a didactic guide that through a series of activities and techniques that reinforce the study of vocabulary in order to facilitate a better understanding of the text studied. The data collection instruments were applied to the 8th grade students of the Unidad Educativa Replica Aguirre Abad. Through the application of these instruments, strong evidence was found that the subjects of the study do not have a correct reading comprehension and that they are aware that the study of previous vocabulary would be of vital help to improve this skill. Finally, the information provided in this thesis will be useful for anyone who intends to discover how the study of vocabulary facilitates and speeds up students' reading comprehension.

For this purpose, the researchers worked with students of tenth grade of Basic General Education at Unidad Educativa” Francisco Huerta Rendon”, in the 2021-2022 school year. The information collected from surveys class observation, interview, the graphics were interpreted to have as a result an analysis of this problematic and at the same time to find a solution. This research is based on two important approaches: structural approach and natural approach. The methods as deductive-inductive, historical logical were used during the research to have a better interpretation of the project. It concludes with the creation of the guide with interactive activities where the teacher has many different types of activities to develop speaking accuracy like debates, role play, playing cards, describing pictures, and all of them have different grammar topics to put into practice in classes

Thus, the objective of this project is to determine the influence of music as a pedagogical strategy to improve listening skills in students. The development of this ability promotes in the student the interaction with aspects of language that allow later an integrated development of the rest of the linguistic skills. The conclusion of the study is that, due to the scarce use of authentic materials in teaching, teachers tend to remain stuck in traditional ways, so the use of innovative strategies is recommended. Therefore, the purpose is to provide a didactic guide to EFL teachers to help first-year BGU students of the Educational Unit Gral. Luis Alfredo Molina Arroyo to develop their listening skills.

This skill requires a basic understanding of syntax and grammatical structures so that communication between people can be interpreted properly. The modality will be of mixed character, combining the functionalities of the qualitative character and of quantitative character. The observation was made to a population of 49 students of the first year of the BGE baccalaureate of the Juan Montalvo Fiscal Educational Unit, applying research instruments such as student surveys and teacher interviews. The data obtained from the analysis process determined a lack of motivation and confusion between the words in the language. The conclusions and recommendations obtained were analyzed through the results of the research, thus developing a methodological guide using multimedia resources for listening in the English language.

In this thesis project, we worked with the students of the First year of baccalaureate (BGU) of the Unidad Educativa fiscal ‘’Guayaquil’’. This research project applied data collection techniques such as the survey to know the point of view of the students who demonstrated that through a guide of interactive activities, they would develop their communication skills. Finally, through an observation guide, the researchers verify the teaching environment which demonstrates the lack of motivation of most of the students in the activities proposed to be carried out. The guide with dialogues in oral interaction activities is a new and very useful learning tool that helps students to actively participate in the learning process.
