dc.description.abstract	El presente ensayo sobre determinación de los coeficientes de cultivo “kc” para el riego de la caña de azúcar (Saccharum officinarum, L.) en dos sistemas de siembra, se llevó a cabo en el ngenio San Carlos, ubicado en el cantón Marcelino Maridueña, de la provincia del Guayas, desde el mes de octubre del 2015 hasta septiembre del 2016. El objetivo general fue establecer los coeficientes de cultivo “kc” específicos para el riego de la caña de azúcar en dos sistemas de siembra, con la finalidad de maximizar el uso del recurso hídrico e incrementar la productividad de las cosechas en el Ingenio Azucarero San Carlos. Se utilizaron herramientas agrícolas manuales y mecánicas, para la evaluación de las variables a estudiar y las labores culturales dentro del cultivo, así como la ayuda del talento humano brindado por el Ingenio San Carlos y el apoyo de sus diversos departamentos. En el análisis y evaluación de dos variables, se utilizó modelo bioestadístico de Bloques al Azar (DBA), con cuatro tratamientos y seis repeticiones, para la comparación de las medias de tratamiento, se utilizó la prueba de rango múltiple de Duncan al 5% de probabilidad, en otra se comparó con líneas de tendencia y las demás se las analizó mediante comparativo numérico. Al finalizar el ensayo, se obtuvo los coeficientes de cultivo específicos para el área determinada en donde se realizaron los experimentos, y con la menor aplicación de número de riegos en sus dos sistemas de siembra, se consiguió igualar en uno y superar en otro, la producción total de sacos de azúcar (50 Kg), permitiéndole al Ingenio San Carlos alcanzar un ahorro substancial en sus costos totales de producción, lo que repercutirá en el incremento de sus ingresos.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The present essay on the determination of the "kc" crop coefficients for irrigation of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum, L.) in two sowing systems was carried out at “Ingenio San Carlos,” located in “Marcelino Maridueña,” from Guayas province, from October 2015 to September 2016. The general objective was to establish specific "kc" crop coefficients for sugarcane irrigation in the planting systems, in order to maximize the use of water resources and increase crop productivity at the “San Carlos” Sugar Mill. Manual and mechanical tools were used to evaluate the variables to be studied and the cultural tasks within the crop, as well as the help of the human talent provided by “San Carlos” Sugar Mill and the support of several departments. In the analysis and evaluation of the variables, the biostatistical model of Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used, with four treatments and six repetitions, for the comparison of the average of treatment, Duncan's multiple range test was used at 5% of probability, in another variable it is compared with the trend lines and the others are analyzed by the numerical comparison. At the end of the test, the specific crop coefficients were obtained for the determined area where the experiments were carried out, and with the lowest application of number of irrigations in the sowing systems, it was possible to equal in one and to exceed in another, the total production of sugar. (50 kg), allowing “San Carlos” Sugar Mill to achieve substantial savings in its total production costs, which will have an impact on the increase in its revenues.	es_ES
