Resumen
Este trabajo partió de la hipótesis que no existe un sistema informativo para la difusión de contenido académico para estudiantes, docentes y autoridades, permitiendo el acceso de forma dinámica. Para ello se realizará una investigación dentro entorno del objeto de estudio, usando la investigación descriptiva, y los instrumentos como la observación, para para verificar el estado de los medios en uso, y encuestas a la población para conocer su aceptación o rechazo hacia un sistema de información, así como el análisis de los datos recolectados en el trabajo de campo, verificar si la configuración de red del edificio permite (o no) el funcionamiento del sistema, finalmente, hacer el diseño de la solución propuesta. Como conclusión, los datos de las encuestas mostraron que existe un creciente grado de inconformidad entre los estudiantes, en relación a los métodos tradicionales en uso actualmente. Otro aspecto es el relacionado con la falta de documentación de la red interna, estándares usados y equipos. Se sugieren como recomendaciones los siguientes temas para futuras tesis: Estudio actualizado de la red interna de la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial, Creación de una Revista Digital para visualización a través del Sistema de Información, Integración del Sistema de Información con Televisión Digital norma ISDT-B para visualización de avisos emergentes ante desastres naturales.
This work started from the hypothesis that it doesn't exist an information system for the diffusion of academic content for students, professors and authorities, allowing the access in a dynamic way. In order to do so, an investigation should be done inside the study object environment, by using descriptive investigation and the instruments as the observation, to verify the state of the means in use, and survey directed to the population, in order to know the acceptance or reject towards an information system, as well as the analysis of data collected in the field, to verify if the network configuration inside the building allows (or not) the functioning of the system, finally, to make the design of the proposed system. As a conclusion, the survey results showed that exists an increased degree of inconformity among the students, related to the traditional methods actually in use. Another aspect is related to the lack of internal network documentation, used standards and equipment. The following recommendations are offered as subjects of future thesis: Updated Study of the internal network of the Facultad de Ingenieria Industrial, Creation of a Digital Magazine for viewing through the Information System, Integration of the Information System with Digital Television, ISDT-B standard for viewing of emergency announcements related to natural disasters.
