Resumen
El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como objetivo el Rediseño del espacio interior y exterior del Centro Gerontológico Municipal Dr. Arsenio de la Torre Marcillo de Guayaquil, el cual presenta diversas problemáticas tales comes: la falta de funcionalidad en la distribución espacial, la inadecuada selección del mobiliario existente, carencia de material de revestimiento que proporcionen seguridad al usuario, falta de diseño en áreas de vegetación.
Al ser este un proyecto de renovación va a traer consigo no solo mejoras en el establecimiento si no también que más personas acudan a la institución en consecuencia de que se están respetando sus necesidades provocando un ambiente óptimo para el desenvolvimiento del adulto mayor en la realización de sus actividades.
Por medio de entrevistas a especialista en cuidado de esta población y de encuestas, se logra determinar los procesos y técnicas de solución de las problemáticas mencionadas y por ende realizar una propuesta que vaya en función a las necesidades del adulto mayor.
The present investigative work has as objective the Redesign of the interior and exterior space of the Municipal Gerontological Center Dr. Arsenio de la Torre Marcillo de Guayaquil, which presents various problems such as: the lack of functionality in the spatial distribution, the inadequate selection of furniture existing, lack of coating material that provides security to the user, lack of design in areas of vegetation.
