dc.description.abstract	This project was conducted at Unidad Educativa Fiscal Dr. Leonidas Ortega Moreira in the city of Guayaquil, during the 2021- 2022 school period, where the students of third year BGU demonstrated insufficiencies in oral expression, as well as the teacher’s limited use of didactic resources to motivate the students. This research aims to determine how does the authentic visual material influence the development of such skill in the English language of the students of third year BGU, through bibliographical, field, and statistical research in order to create a methodological guide implementing the authentic visual material in oral expression for a B1 level. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, surveys were applied to the students through “Google Forms” and the teachers were interviewed face-to-face. The results showed deficiencies in students’ oral expression, as well as their interest in authentic visual material. The analysis of this study led to the design of a methodological guide implementing this material with activities for the development of oral expression of students with a B1 level.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto fue realizado en la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Dr. Leonidas Ortega Moreira en la ciudad de Guayaquil, durante el año lectivo 2021-2022, donde los estudiantes de tercero de Bachillerato General Unificado demostraron insuficiencias en la expresión oral, así como el uso limitado de recursos didácticos por parte del docente, para motivar a los estudiantes. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar cómo influye el material auténtico visual en el desarrollo de dicha habilidad, en el idioma inglés, de los estudiantes de tercero de BGU a través de una investigación bibliográfica, de campo y estadística para crear una guía metodológica implementando el material auténtico visual en la expresión oral de nivel B1. Debido a la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19, se aplicaron encuestas a los estudiantes a través de “Google Forms” y se entrevistó a los docentes de manera presencial. Los resultados mostraron deficiencias en la expresión oral de los estudiantes, así como su interés por el material auténtico visual. Además de evidenciar el poco conocimiento en el uso del mismo, por lo que el análisis de dicho estudio conllevó al diseño de una guía metodológica implementando dicho material con actividades para el desarrollo de la expresión oral de los estudiantes con un nivel B1.	es_ES
