Resumen
Para el desarrollo del presente estudio se estableció como objetivo de investigación analizar la situación de las personas con discapacidad en el mercado laboral del Ecuador durante el periodo 2012 - 2017; lo cual, permitió identificar cual ha sido la incidencia de las políticas y leyes establecida en el país en el proceso de inclusión laboral de las personas con discapacidad, además se conoció la importancia de este proceso en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de este grupo vulnerable. Es por esto, que para el desarrollo de esta investigación se partió identificando cual es la problemática que origino el estudio, además de conocer los antecedentes del proceso de inclusión en el Ecuador; para de esta manera conocer la evolución de este proceso durante el periodo de estudio. Por último, cabe mencionar que el desarrollo de este trabajo permitió corroborar que el establecimiento y ejecución de leyes y programas sobre la discapacidad han contribuido a incrementar el número de personas insertadas en el mercado laboral del país y a socializar y concientizar a la población sobre los derechos de este grupo
To develop this study, it has been established an investigation objective that involves the analysis of people with special needs in the labor market within Ecuador during the 2012 – 2017 term; which allowed identifying what has been the incidence of the politics and laws authorized in the country in the labor inclusion process of people with disabilities. Furthermore, it was known the importance of this process in the improvement of the living standard of this exposed group. For this reason, the development of this investigation started determining what the problem that originated the study was, and besides to recognize the precedents of the inclusion process in Ecuador; so in this way to perceive the evolution of this process in the course of the study. Finally, it is important to emphasize that the development of this work permitted to sustain that the implementation of the laws and programs about special needs that have contributed to increase the number of embedded people in the labor market within the country and socialize and make people be conscious about these individuals right.
