dc.description.abstractEl acuerdo comercial firmado entre Ecuador y la Unión Europea no se debe entender como un tratado o convenio bilateral entre esas dos economías; pues este tipo de acuerdo también ha sido firmado por Colombia y Perú; además si se llegase a integrar Bolivia, este ya se transformaría en un convenio comercial entre bloques subregionales dado que incluiría a todos los países miembros de la Comunidad Andina y a toda la Comunidad Europea. Dentro de las disposiciones generales que comprende el Acuerdo Comercial Multipartes se encuentran el desarrollo sostenible bajo las dimensiones del intercambio comercial, la apertura de mercados, la solución a problemas de índole socioeconómicos, protección de la propiedad intelectual, entre otros. Es por esa razón que en la presente investigación se presentan el análisis de las variables vinculadas al comercio internacional para determinar si el acuerdo comercial firmado entre estas dos economías ha tenido un impacto positivo para la economía ecuatoriana durante el periodo 2014 – 2018.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe trade agreement signed between Ecuador and the European Union should not be understood as a bilateral treaty or agreement between these two economies; because this type of agreement has also been signed by Colombia and Peru; In addition, if Bolivia were to be integrated, it would already be transformed into a trade agreement between subregional blocks since it would include all the member countries of the Andean Community and the entire European Community. Among the general provisions included in the Multipart Trade Agreement are sustainable development under the dimensions of trade, the opening of markets, the solution to socio-economic problems, protection of intellectual property, among others. It is for this reason that the present investigation presents the analysis of the variables related to international trade to determine if the commercial agreement signed between these two economies has had a positive impact on the Ecuadorian economy during the 2014-2018 periodes_ES
