dc.description.abstract	The main research project is based on the incidence of active techniques in the development of oral comprehension in English language learning, in eighth grade, section “A” in the High school “Othón Castillo Velez” in the school year 2020 – 2021. The project aims to examine the importance of active techniques in the development of listening comprehension, which has been carried out through a bibliographical investigation to determine these aspects and elaborate an adequate proposal to the needs of the students related to this skill. The project was based on the mixed qualitative-quantitative approach, and the observation was applied through an observation guide elaborated based on parameters that were desired to know about the ability that students develop, the survey contributed to know the point of view of students regarding the methodology and materials used by the teacher at class time and finally, the interview addressed to the English teacher and the director of the high school to know the point of view this situation. At the end of this extensive research, the researchers concluded that the design of an activity guide based on active techniques would allow the development and improvement of students’ listening comprehension, thus achieving significant learning in them.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de investigación está basado en la incidencia de las técnicas activas en el desarrollo de la comprensión oral en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de octavo año, sección A, en la institución educativa “Othón Castillo Vélez” en el año lectivo 2021 -2022. El proyecto tiene como objetivo poder examinar la importancia que tienen técnicas activas en el desarrollo de la comprensión de escucha, la cual se ha realizado mediante una investigación bibliográfica para poder determinar estos aspectos y poder elaborar una propuesta adecuada a las necesidades de los estudiantes con respecto a esta habilidad. El proyecto se basó en el enfoque mixto cualitativo-cuantitativo, y se aplicó la observación mediante una guía de observación elaborada en base a parámetros que se deseaban conocer acerca de la habilidad que desarrollan los estudiantes, la encuesta aportó a conocer el punto de vista de los estudiantes con respecto a la metodología y los materiales que usa el docente en la hora de clases y finalmente la entrevista dirigida a el docente de inglés y el director con el objetivo de conocer su punto de vista con esta situación. Al finalizar esta extensa investigación, se pudo concluir en que el diseño de una guía de actividades basada en técnicas activas permitiría desarrollar y mejorar la comprensión auditiva de los estudiantes, logrando de esta manera un aprendizaje significativo en ellos.	es_ES
