Resumen
Conforme a un análisis exhaustivo de los espacios exteriores del Hospital de la Mujer Alfredo G. Paulson, se identificó la necesidad de una intervención para mejorar su configuración y funcionalidad. Con este propósito, se llevó a cabo una evaluación minuciosa de la disposición existente, identificando áreas de oportunidad que requerían atención y optimización.
Tras el análisis preliminar, se emprendió un proceso de rediseño de las zonas exteriores del hospital de la mujer. La premisa central de esta iniciativa era lograr una distribución coherente y adecuada de los espacios, maximizando su utilidad y ergonomía para los usuarios. En este contexto, se implementaron nuevas zonas que respondieron a las demandas funcionales y estéticas identificadas durante la fase de análisis.
De manera notable, la planificación de estos nuevos espacios integró un enfoque de diseño biofílico. Esta perspectiva tiene como propósito primordial la integración armoniosa de elementos naturales en el entorno construido, con la finalidad de fomentar una conexión más íntima entre los individuos y la naturaleza circundante. A través de la incorporación de elementos como vegetación, iluminación natural y materiales orgánicos, se buscó generar un ambiente más propicio para el bienestar de los usuarios, a la par que se promovió una estética acorde con el entorno natural.
También se implementó energía sostenible como alumbrado de paneles fotovoltaicos y accesibilidad para personas con movilidad reducida y personas no videntes para que así pueda ser un entorno hospitalario más enriquecedor, inclusivo y amigable.
Based on an exhaustive analysis of the exterior spaces of the Alfredo G. Paulson Women's Hospital, the need for an intervention to improve their configuration and functionality was identified. For this purpose, a thorough evaluation of the existing layout was carried out, identifying areas of opportunity that required attention and optimization. Following the preliminary analysis, a process of redesigning the exterior areas of the women's hospital was undertaken. The central premise of this initiative was to achieve a coherent and appropriate distribution of spaces, maximizing their usefulness and ergonomics for users. In this context, new areas were implemented that responded to the functional and aesthetic demands identified during the analysis phase. Notably, the planning of these new spaces integrated a biophilic design approach. This perspective has as its primary purpose the harmonious integration of natural elements into the built environment, with the aim of fostering a more intimate connection between individuals and the surrounding nature. Through the incorporation of elements such as vegetation, natural lighting and organic materials, we sought to generate an environment more conducive to the well-being of the users, while promoting an aesthetic in accordance with the natural environment. Sustainable energy such as photovoltaic panel lighting and accessibility for people with reduced mobility and blind people were also implemented to make it a more enriching, inclusive, and friendly hospital environment.
