Resumen
Son diversos los tratamiento neoplásicos para tratar los diferentes tipos de cáncer en nuestra población, los canceres más agresivos, son aquellos que reciben una dosis elevada de, radioterapia y quimioterapia ya que por sus grados tumorales son más difíciles de controlar. Hasta la actualidad el índice de pacientes con tratamientos ionizantes son mayores con una afectación grande tanto en hombres y en mujeres, los cuales el cáncer se puede desarrollar por factores genéticos o ambientales, este último mencionado se refiere al lugar en que se encuentran expuestos a un peligro constante. Objetivo: conocer los diferentes tipos de tratamientos para pacientes sometidos a la radioterapia y quimioterapia. Método: este estudio se basó en un estudio descriptivo de la recopilación de artículos científicos de revistas indexadas: Scielo, Google Académico, Pub Med. Conclusiones: en pacientes inmunodeprimidos es muy común encontrar afectaciones bucales, la que mayor prevalece en este tipo de pacientes es la mucositis, provocándole malestar al paciente al momento de ingerir comidas o bebidas, por eso es muy importante que el área odontológica se relaciones mucho con el área oncológica para que nuestros profesionales puedan generar ayuda este tipo de lesiones que refiera el paciente.
There are various neoplastic treatments to treat the different types of cancer in our population, the most aggressive cancers, are those that receive a high dose of radiation therapy and chemotherapy because their tumor grades are more difficult to control. Until today, the index of patients with ionizing treatments are higher with a large affectation in both men and women, which cancer can develop due to genetic or environmental factors, the latter mentioned refers to the place where they are exposed to a constant danger Objective: to know the different types of treatments in patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Method: This study was based on a descriptive study of the compilation of scientific articles from indexed journals: Scielo, Google Scholar, Pub Med. Conclusions: in immunocompromised patients it is very common to find oral disorders the most prevalent in this type of patients is the mucositis, causing discomfort to the patient at the time of eating food or drinks, so it is very important that the dental area is closely related to the oncological area so that our professionals can generate help such injuries that the patient refers.
