| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar los cambios verticales como resultados de tratamientos con o sin extracciones de premolares superiores, en una búsqueda de información bibliográfica basada en tratamientos cuyos autores practicaron ambas técnicas , llegando a una determinada conclusión manifestando los cambios en la dimensión vertical , los resultados obtenidos según las diferentes fuentes reflejan un aumento vertical en el grupo de no extracciones y una disminución no significativa de grupo con extracciones, en referencia al tipo facial en el grupo de extracciones, no se encontró diferencia entre ellos, por otro lado se registró una diferencia significativa en el aumento del plano mandibular en el grupo de no extracciones. Como conclusión no se debe tomar en consideración el factor de extracciones como una opción para reducir el patrón vertical del paciente, ya que, en este tipo de tratamientos, a pesar que refleja más mesializacion, ocurre también mayor cantidad de extrusión por lo cual, este factor compensa el cambio vertical que se producirá con dicho tratamiento | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to evaluate the changes as a result of vertical treatments with or without extractions of upper premolars, in a search for bibliographic information based on treatments whose authors practiced both techniques, reaching a certain conclusion manifesting the changes in the vertical dimension, the results obtained according to the different sources reflect a vertical increase in the group with no extractions and a non-significant decrease in the group with extractions, in reference to the facial type in the group with extractions, no difference was found between them, on the other hand it was lost a significant difference in mandibular plane augmentation in the non-extraction group. In conclusion, the extraction factor should not be taken into consideration as an option to reduce the vertical pattern of the patient, since, in this type of treatment, despite the fact that it reflects more mesialization, there is also a greater amount of extrusion, which is why, this factor compensates for the vertical change that will occur with such treatment | es_ES |
