| dc.description.abstract | La familia que tiene como miembro un niño con crisis convulsiva atraviesa por problemas específicos que la enfermedad les impone, a los que se suman a otros naturales del sistema. Partiendo del modelo de estructura familiar aplicado a la presencia de epilepsia infantil en la familia, es posible pensar que la familia organiza de manera particular sus relaciones. La interpretación y los temores que se le otorguen a la epilepsia dependerán de la organización familiar. Powell y Ogle plantean que el impacto de la enfermedad depende de cómo cada uno de los miembros de la familia se adapte a la situación, y cómo la enfrenta para lograr activar sus sistemas de apoyo. Para empezar a trabajar sobre la estructura familiar, del niño con epilepsia es necesario clarificar el tipo de epilepsia que el niño padezca. En primer lugar, para conocer las dificultades específicas de su enfermedad y en segundo lugar identificar cuáles son, realísticamente, sus capacidades, sus limitaciones y los cuidados necesarios. En vista de que la epilepsia tiene diferentes modos de presentarse, siendo la forma más dramática aquella en la que el niño tiene crisis convulsivas tónico-clónicas, la cual se muestra como el otro extremo de aquella conocida como ausencias, entre otras muchas formas más de presentación, marcan de manera muy particular la vivencia de cada miembro. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | A family who as part of their members has a child with convultioning crisis, faces specific challenges that the disease itself imposes upon them, to which we can also add the daily challenges we face within the system in which we live. Basing our observation from the family structure applied to the presence of child epilepsy within the family, it is possible to think that the family who faces this particular situation has implemented a way to organize their family relationship in a particular manner. The interpretation and fear given to Epilepsy , would very much vary on the structure the family has in place. Powell and Ogle suggest that the impact of the disease would vary depending on how well each family member has adapted to the situation, and in which manner they face it to achieve a successful support system. To begin a successful family structure , of a child who suffers epilepsy it's necessary to identify the type of epilepsy the child suffers. Primarily to know the specific level of difficulty of the disease and secondly to identify the realistic capabilities and limitations, and the care that must be provided. In sight of the different forms, epilepsy is manifested, being the most dramatic the one in which the child undergoes a crisis known as Tonic-Clonic convulsions. This one is shown as the extreme of other forms known as absence, among other forms of manifestation.
