Resumen
La presente investigación trató un tema de especial interés para las enfermeras, para la comunidad de madres
en periodo de lactancia y para la ciencia, cuyo objetivo fue determinar los factores que influyen en la nutrición
de las madres durante el periodo de lactancia materna en la Sala C2 del Hospital Alfredo Paulson en el 2016,
aplicando una investigación con enfoque cuantitativa, descriptivo, con modalidad bibliográfica y de campo,
con uso de la encuesta a las madres en tiempo de lactancia, cuyos resultados evidenciaron entre los factores
demográficos que influyeron en esta problemática, la edad, porque el grupo etáreo de las adolescentes, son las
que tienen mayor desconocimiento por tener solamente instrucción primaria, lo que contribuye al
desconocimiento, además que un gran porcentaje son amas de casa, lo que también aporta a que no tengan los
ingresos necesarios para nutrirse adecuadamente; también influyó el desconocimiento y las creencias erróneas
acerca de su alimentación en este periodo de tiempo, observándose el consumo excesivo de gaseosas y comidas
chatarras o condimentadas, se pudo establecer que la alimentación con baja cantidad de nutrientes en el
desayuno y mayor cantidad en la merienda, influyó en el déficit de la nutrición de las madres durante la
lactancia materna. En conclusión, se determinó que algunos factores demográficos y el desconocimiento fueron los factores que influyeron en una alimentación inadecuada que afectó la nutrición de las madres durante la lactancia materna, en la Sala C2 del Hospital Alfredo Paulson en el 2016.
The present research addressed an issue of special interest to health authorities, the community of nursing mothers and science, whose objective was to determine the factors that influence the nutrition of mothers during breastfeeding in Room C2 Of the Alfredo Paulson Hospital in 2016, applying a quantitative, descriptive, cross sectional research with field and bibliographic modality, with the use of the survey to the mothers in time of lactation, whose results evidenced among the demographic factors that influenced this Age group, because the age group of adolescents and women who are between 18 and 26 years of age are the ones that have greater ignorance because they only have primary education, which contributes to the lack of knowledge, and a large percentage are House and single mothers, which also contributes to not having the necessary income to nourish themselves adequately; Also influenced ignorance and misconceptions about their diet in this period of time, observing the excessive consumption of sodas and junk foods or spicy, it was established that food with low nutrients at breakfast and more at the snack , Influenced the nutritional deficit of mothers during breastfeeding. In conclusion, it was determined that some demographic factors and ignorance were the factors that influenced an inadequate diet that affected the nutrition of mothers during breastfeeding and also to their children under six months of age, in Room C2 of the Hospital Alfredo Paulson in 2016
