dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo se llevó a cabo el estudio farmacognóstico y genético comparativo de dos especies del género Malva (Malva pseudolavatera Webb & Berthel y Malva sylvestris L). El estudio macro-morfológico evidenció que existen diferencias en las dimensiones y características organolépticas de las hojas frescas de las dos especies, mientras que el estudio micro-morfológico permitió establecer una conformación diferente y menor abundancia de tricomas en M. pseudolavatera con relación a M. sylvestris. Los análisis moleculares indicaron que las muestras marcan una estrecha relación entre sí, correspondiendo al mismo género; los marcadores ITS demostraron que las dos muestras corresponden a especies diferentes del género. Los parámetros físico-químicos de calidad evidenciaron, también, diferencias en el contenido de cenizas totales, cenizas insolubles en HCl, sustancias solubles en agua, y humedad relativa, entre las dos especies estudiadas. En el screening fitoquímico, sin embargo, no se detectaron diferencias entre las especies. El análisis de los extractos etéreos por el sistema acoplado CG-EM, permitió establecer diferencias de índole cualitativa y cuantitativa entre ambas especieses_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present work was carried out the comparative pharmacognostic and genetic study of two species of the genus Malva (Malva pseudolavatera Webb & Berthel and Malva sylvestris L). The macro-morphological study showed that there are differences in the dimensions and organoleptic characteristics of the fresh leaves of the two species, while the micro-morphological study allowed establishing a different conformation and lower abundance of trichomes in M. pseudolavatera in relation to M. sylvestris. Molecular analyses indicated that the samples showed a close relationship between them, corresponding to the same genus; ITS markers showed that the two samples corresponded to different species of the genus. Physical-chemical quality parameters also showed differences in total ash content, ash insoluble in HCl, water-soluble substances, and relative humidity between the two species studied. In the phytochemical screening, however, no differences between the species were detected. The analysis of the ethereal extracts by the coupled system CG-EM, allowed to establish qualitative and quantitative differences between both specieses_ES
