dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la contribución de las microempresas al desarrollo local de la parroquia La Unión, para lo cual hemos tomado en consideración los diferentes factores que influyen sobre el desenvolvimiento de esta en la generación de ingresos y empleo, para llevar a cabo el análisis se utilizó el método de investigación cualitativo y cuantitativo por medio de la recolección de datos que se basó en elaborar encuestas dirigidas a los microempresarios de la parroquia, también indagando datos en fuentes oficiales que nos aporte información para realizar un análisis más preciso de la situación y problemática del territorio y la realización de entrevista al Representante de la parroquia. Respecto a la premisa planteada se ha podido evidenciar que las microempresas no representan un mayor aporte en cuanto a la generación de empleo para la parroquia, sin embargo, la presencia de ellas en la localidad ayuda al flujo de la dinámica de la economía del territorio, porque al no haberlas los habitantes irían a la zona urbana que es Babahoyo	es_ES
