Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación tiene como objetivo proponer un rediseño interior y exterior de la Universidad Metropolitana Campus Kennedy, ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil, que, mediante el análisis del espacio y los datos recopilados, presenta fallos en la distribución y funcionamiento de las áreas internas y externas ocasionando estorbos en la circulación, poco aprovechamiento del espacio, mobiliario inadecuado afectando la salud física de los usuarios, carencia estética en el ambiente, y el no uso de sistemas domóticos que sirvan como herramienta de aprendizaje, seguridad e innovación.
La propuesta de rediseño se enfoca en crear espacios que efectúen las necesidades de los usuarios teniendo en cuenta las actividades que se realizan y el número de personas que lo utilizan guiándose de la investigacion realizada en el marco teórico y los criterios de diseño pertinentes, con la finalidad de generar soluciones estéticas, de distribución y funcionalidad
The objective of this degree investigation is to propose an interior and exterior redesign of the Kennedy Campus of the Metropolitan University, located in Guayaquil, which, through the analysis of the space and the data collected, it presents failures in the distribution and operation of the internal and external areas causing obstructions in circulation, poor use of space, inadequate furniture affecting the physical health of users, lack of aesthetics in the environment, and the non-use of automation systems that serve as tools for learning, security and innovation. The redesign proposal focuses on creating spaces that meet the needs of users considering the activities that are carried out and the number of people who use it, guided by the research done in the theoretical framework and the relevant design criteria, with the purpose of generating aesthetic solutions, distribution, and functionality.
