Resumen
La investigación tiene como objetivo, analizar la factibilidad de un dispositivo inalámbrico de estimulación acinética para pacientes que padecen la enfermedad de Parkinson en el centro de rehabilitación de Guayaquil el Hospital Luis Vernaza, en el cual los costos de rehabilitación y funcionamiento se dan por un precio elevado. Además se busca cotizar y permitir que los pacientes al momento de realizar los ejercicios mediante el uso de videojuegos mejoren su calidad de vida y su entretenimiento en la rehabilitación. Para ello se busca realizar un análisis y estudio en base a la plataforma arduino nano para la elaboración de este proyecto. La metodología es cualitativa y cuantitativa, se empleó una encuesta que se realizó tanto a pacientes como a terapeutas de diferente edad con capacidad de responder las preguntas. De lo cual se concluye que prefieren el dispositivo inalámbrico para la mejora de su tratamiento y están a favor de una futura implementación.
The objective of the research is to analyze the feasibility of a wireless akinetic stimulation device for patients suffering from Parkinson's disease in the rehabilitation center of Guayaquil named Luis VernazaHospital, wherethe costs of rehabilitation and operation are given bya high price.In addition, it seeks to quote and improve patient’s quality of life and their entertainment in rehabilitation at the time of performing the exercises through the use of video games. For this, an analysis and study based on the arduino nano platform for the elaboration of this project is sought. The methodology is qualitative and quantitative, a survey was used that was done both to patients and therapists of different ages with the capability to answer the questions. From which it is concluded that they prefer the wireless device for the improvement of their treatment and are in favor of a future implementation.
