| dc.description.abstract | El instrumental quirúrgico es de mucha importancia hoy en día, ya que de esto también va a depender del éxito del acto quirúrgico, por tal motivo será necesario conocer toda la gama de instrumental que existe en odontología para que la intervención pueda ser llevada a cabo de la mejor manera y sin complicaciones futuras. El estudiante de pregrado y el cirujano deben de conocer a cabalidad todos estos implementos y las técnicas que deben emplearse, antes de tomar contacto directo con el paciente. El objetivo de esta investigación fue el de determinar si el instrumental básico empleado para realizar cirugía dentomaxilar cumple satisfactoriamente las funciones para la cual fueron diseñados. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación es un método no experimental porque se realiza un estudio sin manipular las variables ya que se habla del instrumental de cirugía brindando un aporte más a la investigación. La población de esta investigación está conformada por 20 Odontólogos que forman parte de la Facultad Piloto de Odontología de la Universidad de Guayaquil, y 80 estudiantes de pregrado de la misma Facultad. Los cuales suman 100 personas. Los resultados mostraron que tanto odontólogos como estudiantes de pregrado están de acuerdo que el instrumental de cirugía está diseñado de manera adecuada. En conclusión el Instrumental quirúrgico es la herramienta que emplea el cirujano en la intervención quirúrgica. Se diseña de forma tal que le permita al cirujano y al estudiante de pregrado realizar las maniobras quirúrgicas necesarias, ya que el tamaño, el peso y la precisión del instrumental utilizado pueden afectar los resultados de la cirugía. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Surgical instruments is of great importance today, since this will also depend on the success of surgery, for that reason it will be necessary to meet the full range of instruments that exist in dentistry for intervention can be carried out in the best way without future compilations. The undergraduate and the surgeon must fully meet all these tools and techniques to be used before making direct contact with the patient. The objective of this research was to determine whether the basic instruments used for surgery dentomaxilar satisfactorily the functions for which they were designed. The methodology used in this research is a non-experimental approach because a study is conducted without manipulating variables as it speaks of surgical instruments providing another contribution to research. The population of this research consists of 20 dentists who are part of the Pilot School of Dentistry at the University of Guayaquil, and 100 undergraduate students from the same university. Which total 120 people. The results showed that both dentists and undergraduate students agree that the surgical instruments is designed properly. In conclusion the surgical instruments is the tool used by the surgeon in the surgical procedure. It is designed in a way that allows the surgeon and undergraduate perform surgical maneuvers necessary, since the size, weight and precision of the instruments used can affect the results of surgery. | es_ES |
