dc.description.abstract	This project is directed at students of the 10th grade of GBE, in the "Provincia de Chimborazo" high school in Guayaquil. The problems that have been observed in this institution are the deficiencies of reading comprehension because it is not very often executed, in turn the deficiency of didactic material, which is primordial at the moment in which the student learns a foreign language; It is important to point out that this has interfered in the student’s level, who do not have the necessary vocabulary to understand small readings in English, this being one of the main reasons why it has been decided to implement a booklet with interactive short stories, in order to help them to enrich their lexicon. The main objective of the researchers is that students do not feel the obligation to read, but motivate them to do it for pleasure, since it is there where one learns a language better. It should be added, that according to the results of the surveys, it was found that students are very interested in practicing comprehensive reading and, above all, improving their English knowledge. On the one hand, the booklet obtain some short stories considering that it has exercises that lead the student to read in a deeper way so as to be able to solve them, while promoting short stories using romantic, mystery, fantasy and funny stories. As a conclusion, it is stated that the booklet presented to the students was of great impact, taking into account that it is a way to motivate them to practice reading, since it will be a great help in the way of knowing.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto está dirigido a estudiantes de Décimo año de Educación General Básica, en el colegio “Provincia de Chimborazo” en Guayaquil. Los problemas que se han observado en esta institución son deficiencias de comprensión lectora porque no se lo ejecuta a mendo, a su vez la deficiencia de material didáctico, el cual es primordial en el momento en que el estudiante aprende una lengua extranjera. Es importante señalar que esto ha interferido en el nivel del estudiante, quien no tiene el vocabulario necesario para entender lecturas cortas en Ingles, siendo esta una de las principales razones por la que se ha decidido implementar un folleto con historias cortas interactivas, con el fin de ayudarlos a enriquecer su léxico. El objetivo principal de las investigadoras es que los estudiantes no sientan la obligación de leer, sino motivarlos a hacerlo por placer, ya que es ahí donde uno aprende mejor un idioma. Cabe agregar, que de acuerdo con los resultados de las encuestas, se encontró que los estudiantes están muy interesados en practicar lecturas comprensivas y, sobre todo, mejorar su conocimiento de Ingles. Por un lado, el folleto obtiene algunas historias cortas considerando que tiene ejercicios que llevan al estudiante a leer en una forma más profunda para poder resolverlos, mientras promueve historias cortas usando historias románticas, de misterio, de fantasías y divertidas. Como conclusión, se expresa que el folleto presentado a los estudiantes fue de gran impacto, teniendo en cuenta que es una forma para motivarlos a practicar la lectura, ya que será una gran ayuda en la forma de conocimiento	es_ES
