dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this project is to determine the effectiveness of using scaffolding strategies in online teaching to improve the reading fluency of tenth-grade students of general basic education of the Fiscal Educational Unit ''Sarah Flor Jimenez'' during the school year 2020-2021. In the mentioned group of students, the lack of reading fluency in the English language was evidenced. This was determined through a survey of the students, an interview with the English teacher, and the observation process. Additionally, the independent and dependent variable of the problem was analyzed and developed through historical background, theoretical foundation, applying methods, techniques, and instruments that allowed discovering the real situation in which the students found themselves with respect to reading fluency. dc.description.abstractEl objetivo principal del presente proyecto es determinar la efectividad de usas estrategias de andamiaje en la enseñanza online para mejorar la fluidez lectora de los estudiantes de décimo grado de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal ‘’Sarah Flor Jiménez’’ durante el periodo lectivo 2020-2021. En el mencionado grupo de estudiantes, se evidencio la falta de fluidez lectora en el idioma inglés. Lo cual se determinó, a través de una encuesta a los estudiantes, entrevista a la maestra de inglés y el proceso de observación. Adicionalmente, se analizó y desarrollo la variable independiente y dependiente del problema a través de antecedentes históricos, fundamentación teórica, aplicando métodos, técnicas e instrumentos que permitieron descubrir la situación real en la que se encontraban los estudiantes con respecto a la fluidez lectora.
