Resumen
En el capítulo I, se encontrará los antecedentes de la informalidad, que ubica al lector en el contexto en que se encuentra la informalidad en Guayaquil, otro tema es la definición del problema, analizado de manera general, luego encontraremos la justificación del tema donde se explica su importancia y por último la delimitación del tema. En el capítulo II, está dedicado a la conceptualización de la informalidad, la legalidad, hipótesis y la metodología utilizada en la investigación. La metodología utilizada es cuantitativa y descriptiva basada en los datos estadísticos del último Censo Nacional del INSTITUTO ECUATORIANO DE ESTADÍSTICAS Y CENSOS (INEC) y de los Boletines del Banco Central del Ecuador. En el capítulo III, explica los determinantes y sus causas. En el capítulo IV, se presenta la información cuantitativa y cualitativa sobre las condiciones de la informalidad en Guayaquil, lo que nos permitirá aceptar o rechazar nuestra hipótesis. El capítulo se dedica a reflexionar sobre la información recolectada y presentamos las conclusiones y recomendaciones. Las fuentes bibliográficas consultadas constan al pie de cada página y su listado alfabético en las páginas finales, al igual que los cuadros estadísticos y anexos.

The methodology is based on quantitative and descriptive statistics of the last National Census ECUATORIANO INSTITUTE OF STATISTICS AND CENSUS (INEC ) and the Central Bank Bulletins Ecuador . Chapter III explains the determinants and causes. Quantitative and qualitative information on the conditions of informality in Guayaquil is presented in Chapter IV , which will allow us to accept or reject our hypothesis. The chapter is dedicated to reflect on the information gathered and present the conclusions and recommendations. The literature consulted comprise the bottom of each page and listed alphabetically in the final pages , as well as statistical tables and annexes .
