| dc.description.abstract | En el campo de la odontología las luxaciones dentales por traumatismos son muy comunes tanto en pacientes femenino como masculino, el especialista al igual que el paciente buscan dar solución a esta problemática y se espera resultados favorables. La luxación dental es un desplazamiento del diente de su posición normal en el alvéolo. El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar el manejo terapéutico y pronóstico de la luxación dentaria. En la presente revisión bibliográfica su metodología es de tipo documental, cualitativo, exploratorio, descriptiva, retrospectiva y transversal. Se revisaron 39 artículos científicos, entre ellos libros, en su mayoría de los últimos 5 años, que fueron obtenidos en la biblioteca de la Facultad Piloto de Odontología, también en la Web, gracias a los buscadores Google, Scielo, PubMed, repositorios de universidades, Medigraphic, entre otros. En conclusión, existe mayor prevalencia en pacientes masculinos que femeninos y la principal causa es trauma por caídas, después del manejo clínico se recomienda control post operatorio a los dientes luxados con la finalidad de mantener el diente dentro del alveolo. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In the dentistry field, dental luxations due to trauma are very common in female and male patients, specialist as well as patients seek a solution to this problem and look forward to favorable results. Dental luxation is a displacement of the tooth from its normal position in the socket. This work aims to determine the therapeutic management and prognosis of dental luxation. The methodology of this literature review is documentary, qualitative, exploratory, descriptive, retrospective, and cross-sectional. Thirty-nine scientific articles were reviewed, including books, mostly from the last 5 years, which were obtained from the library of the Pilot School of Dentistry, and also from the Web, thanks to the search engines Google, Scielo, PubMed, university repositories, Medigraphic, among others. In conclusion, there is a higher prevalence in male patients than in female patients and the main cause is trauma due to falls. After clinical management, post-operative control of the luxated teeth is recommended to maintain the tooth within the socket. | es_ES |
