Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo identificar los efectos de la percepción de la inseguridad y experiencias de atracos en el distrés y satisfacción con la vida de guayaquileños, que son causados por la violencia que se vive en la ciudad de Guayaquil. Se estudiaron las dimensiones objetivas y subjetivas para conocer de qué forma afecta negativamente en el bienestar de los ciudadanos y la calidad de vida, con una metodología cuantitativa, presentada con un diseño descriptivo-correlacional, se aplicada de forma hibrida (virtual y presencial). Como instrumentos de utilizaron el cuestionario de Experiencias de atraco, el cuestionario de inseguridad urbana, la escala de malestar psicológico de Kessler K10 y la escala de satisfacción con la vida (SWLS) se aplicó a 72 ciudadanos, que tienen de 18 a 49 años, el cual arrojaron resultados que indican que la inseguridad que envuelve la ciudad afecta negativamente la calidad de vida
The objective of this research was to identify the effects of the perception of insecurity and experiences of robberies on the distress and life satisfaction of Guayaquil residents, which are caused by the violence experienced in the city of Guayaquil. The objective and subjective dimensions were studied to determine how it negatively affects the well-being of citizens and the quality of life, with a quantitative methodology, presented with a descriptive-correlational design, applied in a hybrid form (virtual and face-to-face). The instruments used were the mugging experience questionnaire, the urban insecurity questionnaire, the Kessler K10 psychological distress scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), applied to 72 citizens between 18 and 49 years of age, which yielded results indicating that the insecurity surrounding the city negatively affects the quality of life
