| dc.description.abstract | El actual estudio tiene como objetivo principal determinar la eficacia de la enucleación quirúrgica como tratamiento de quiste periapical en un paciente de 40 años de edad sexo femenino atendida en la Clínica de cirugía de la facultad Piloto de Odontología periodo 2018 – 2019 Ciclo II. Los procedimientos quirúrgicos como métodos de eliminación de quistes odontogénicos son una elección terapéutica conservadora para evitar la exodoncia de un diente y el avance de la lesión a otras estructuras anexas. La investigación es de tipo cualitativo, su modalidad de estudio es un caso clínico, por medio del cual se observó las condiciones existentes en la lesión periapical, así como también un diseño de tipo descriptivo por medio del cual se observó los cambios significativos tanto clínico como radiográfico luego del tratamiento. Se utilizó una radiografía periapical de la pieza # 12 y panorámica para el análisis y diagnóstico. Posteriormente se realizaron exámenes de laboratorio clínico, la paciente presentaba una endodoncia en la pieza # 12, se procede a la intervención quirúrgica enucleación del quiste, se realizó la extirpación de la lesión y la apicectomía de dicha pieza dentaria. Dando como resultado final que el tratamiento ideal al buscar una opción terapéutica para la eliminación de quistes en el que el fallo endodóntico ya se ha presentado es la enucleación y apicectomía. El estudio de tesis es de utilidad en el campo de la cirugía bucal, indicando que se logran conseguir resultados más predecibles al realizar un tratamiento quirúrgico en pacientes con estas lesiones. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of the study is to determine the efficacy of surgical enucleation as a periapical cyst treatment in a 40-year-old female patient assisted at the Surgery Clinic of the Dentistry Faculty in the 2018 - 2019 II Cycle. Surgical procedures as methods of eliminating odontogenic cysts are a conservative therapeutic choice to avoid the extraction of a tooth and the advancement of periapical lesions to other attached structures. The research is of qualitative type since its modality of study is a clinical case, by means of which the existing conditions in the periapical lesion were observed, as well as a descriptive type design to observe the significant changes both clinical and radiographic after the treatment. A periapical radiograph of piece # 12 and panoramic radiograph is used for analysis and diagnosis. Subsequently, clinical laboratory tests are performed on which the patient already had an endodontic infection in the piece # 12, we proceeded to a surgical intervention enucleation of the cyst, to perform the removal and apicoectomy of such tooth. Giving as a result that the ideal treatment when looking for a therapeutic option for the elimination of cysts in which endodontic failure has already been presented is enucleation and apicoectomy. The thesis study will be useful in the field of oral surgery, since it will enhance cicatrization through a thorough surgical treatment. | es_ES |
