| dc.description.abstract | El bruxismo es un habito parafuncional el que significa el apretamiento y rechinar de los dientes, esta parafunción tiene diferentes factores etiológicos para dar inicio al bruxismo tal como los factores morfológicos, psicológicos, patofisiológicos y genéticos. el bruxismo es una alteración que está compuesta por diferentes manifestaciones clínicas, las cuales estarán incluidas las más importantes, como el desgaste dental, lesiones no cariosas como atrición y abfracción, pulpitis, movilidad dental, manifestaciones a nivel de sistema muscular, manifestaciones óseas y articulares. Se pueden encontrar signos radiográficos y también los diferentes tipos de tratamientos más adecuados para pacientes con esta alteración, intervenciones dentales, guardas oclusales, tratamiento farmacéutico y de comportamiento. En el presente trabajo investigativo se exhibe el método investigativo en el cual se utilizó estudio de tipo cualitativo de corte trasversal y exploratorio. Los resultados de este estudio, se pudo tener que existen diferentes manifestaciones clínicas que se asocian a la patología como desgaste dentario, manifestaciones musculares y articulares. Como conclusión de este estudio tenemos, que el bruxismo involucra diferentes estructuras del sistema estomatognático, produciendo alteraciones como facetas de desgaste, movilidad dental, mialgias, alteraciones de la articulación temporomandibular. | dc.description.abstract | Bruxism is a parafunctional habit, which has, as meaning, the tightening and grinding of the teeth. This parafunction has different etiological factors for the onset of bruxism that is the case of morphological, psychological, pathophysiological and genetic factors. Bruxism is an alteration that is very common, such as dental wear, non-carious lesions such as attrition and abduction, pulpitis, dental mobility, manifestations at the level of the muscular system, bone and joint manifestations. You can find radiographic signs and also the different more suitable types of treatments for patients with this alteration: dental interventions, occlusal guards, pharmaceutical and behavioral treatment. In the present investigative work, the method shown is cross-sectional and exploratory qualitative type study was used. Within the results of this study, you can have a variety of clinical diseases that are associated with pathology such as tooth wear, muscle and joint manifestations. One of the conclusions of this study is that bruxism is a parafunctional habit that involves different structures of the stomatognathic system, producing alterations such as facets of wear, dental mobility, myalgias and temporomandibular joint alterations.
