dc.description.abstract	La siguiente investigación tuvo por objetivo verificar la prevalencia de la depresión infantil con discapacidad intelectual y de lenguaje para lo cual se utilizó una muestra de 8 estudiantes con estas características, con edades comprendidas entre 6 a 8 años de edad de la Escuela Fiscal “Rodrigo Chávez González de Guayaquil; para lo cual se aplicaron test proyectivos tales como test de Goodenough, de la Familia y consecuentemente el inventario de depresión infantil de Kovacs, puesto que debemos considerar que los escolares con discapacidad intelectual y de lenguaje se encuentra en un camino lleno de dificultades, limitaciones y disfunciones, impactando su emocionalidad, su autoestima y, en general, en todas las esferas de su vida que va a marcar la presencia de preocupación, tristeza, angustia, autoestima negativa, frustración, dificultades para comunicarse asertivamente , es decir toda una sintomatología depresiva en dichos estudiantes	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	This following research aimed to verify the prevalence of depression on childs with intellectual and language disabilities on a sample of 8 students aged between 6 to 8 years old from "Rodrigo Chávez Gonzalez School” by using projective tests such as Goodenough test, Family test and Kovacs child depression inventory, we must consider that schoolchildren with intellectual and language disabilities, face a path full of difficulties, limitations and dysfunctions with their environment, directly impacting their emotions, self-esteem, self-worth and selfperception, because throughout the development of his life there will be events that lead to the existence of feelings of worry, sadness, anguish, anxiety, frustration as well as difficulties in communicating and relating to his environment, signs and symptoms directly related to depression	es_ES
