dc.description.abstractAntecedentes. El poco interés por el cuidado y prevención de caries dental ha provocado un alto índice de morbilidad periodontal en los estudiantes de la UELVT. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar las causas que provocan caries dental en adolescentes del primer año de bachillerato UELVT. La metodología de estudio aplicada es cuantitativa, diseño no experimental de tipo transversal y correlacional. Se realizaron encuestas a los estudiantes de la unidad educativa con la finalidad de determinar las causas que originan caries dental en adolecentes del primer año de bachillerato, paralelos (A,B,C,D,E,F) de la Unidad Educativa Luis Vargas Torres, además de establecer el plan en prevención de caries dental, para contrarrestar los casos amas de establecer campañas preventivas que permitan in formas y concientizar a la población educativa en la importancia de prevenir las caries dental. La mayor prevalencia de carie dental se la evidencia en los adolescentes del el sexo masculino y en los menores de 16 años, de acuerdo a la investigación la mayoría de caries dental en los estudiantes de Primero Bachillerato Unidad Educativa Luis Vargas Torres, es provocada por los malos hábitos alimenticios ya que el (14%) siempre consumen dulces, chicles y caramelos, (36%) casi siempre, (41%) alguna vez, (6%) muy pocas. Los Adolescentes de Primero Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Luis Vargas Torres se enferman de caries dental por el mal cuidado de la higiene bucodental y por la falta de una visita periódica al odontólogo hace que aumente el riesgo de las enfermedades bucales.es_ES
dc.description.abstractBackground. The lack of interest in the care and prevention of dental caries has led to a high rate of periodontal morbidity in UELVT students. The present work aims to identify the causes that cause dental caries in adolescents of the first year of high school UELVT. The methodology of applied study is quantitative, non-experimental design of transverse and correlational type. The students of the educational unit were surveyed in order to determine the causes that cause dental caries in adolescents of the first year of high school, parallel (A, B, C, D, E, F) of the Educational Unit Luis Vargas Torres, In addition to establishing the plan in dental caries prevention, to counteract the cases of establishing preventive campaigns that will inform and educate the educative population on the importance of preventing dental caries. The highest prevalence of dental caries is evidence in the adolescents of the male sex and in those under 16 years, according to the investigation most dental caries in the students of First High School Luis Vargas Torres Educational Unit, is caused by the Bad eating habits since 14% always consume sweets, chewing gum and candy, (36%) almost always, (41%) some time, (6%) very few. The Adolescents of First Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit Luis Vargas Torres become ill of dental caries due to the poor care of the oral hygiene and the lack of a periodic visit to the dentist causes that the risk of the oral diseases increases.es_ES
