The lateral movement is done by bringing the jaw to the right or left side . It is functional and occurs during mastication ( diducción ) is the unilateral contraction of pterygoid outside this movement resulting . From occlusion centric jaw slides . In the previous section can be two ways (paths ) : the buccal aspect of the mandibular canine on the palatal of the upper canine and this is called canine guidance , means that the forces exerted on the dog which is resistant to support them. When the lower teeth slide over the palatal surface of the upper group function is called , it is good because the forces are distributed on four dental elements who share the load. There are also a function of common posterior dentition group temporary. Occlusion and its relationship to the system function masticatory have been a theme for investigaciónodontológica many years , constituting a relationship importance compleja.La This topic has generated numerous concepts , theories, research and treatment methods , which have generated confusion in the field as the present target resort. The bibliographic research is to determine the influence of Laterality movements on functional parameters occlusion
