dc.description.abstract	This research analyzes the incidence of the Engage, Study and Activate (ESA) approach in the improvement of the grammar skill in students of the 8th scholar year of Basic General Education of the public school "Replica Aguirre Abad" located im the city of Guayaqul. Firstly it starts aettings its objective supported by the bibliographical argumentation that highlights the contributions of previous researchers regarding the beneits of the ESA approach for the development of the grammar skills. According to that, it provides a description of each phase of this approach a it ia applied in a class lesson. This study applies the mixed research methodology to analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively. It continues adding statistical analysis as a result of the application of empirical research techniques; interview and survey. Finally concludes with the design of a digital portfolio with activities based on this approach as a solution to the researeh problem.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Esta investigación analiza la incidencia del enfoque Engage, Study, Activate (ESA) en el mejoramiento de la destreza gramatical en estudiantes del 8th curso de Educación General Básica en el colegio público "Réplica Aguirre Abad" ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil. En primer lugar, parte de plantear su objetivo apoyado en la argumentación bibliográfica que destaca los aportes de investigadores anteriores en cuanto a los beneficios del enfoque ESA para el desarrollo de la habilidad gramatical. De acuerdo a esto, proporciona una descripción de cada fase de este enfoque tal como se aplica en una lección de clase. Este estudio aplica la metodología de investigación mixta para analizar datos cuantitativa y cualitativamente. Continúa agregando el análisis estadístico como resultado de la aplicación de técnicas de investigación empírica; entrevista y encuesta. Finalmente concluye con el diseño de un portafolio digital con actividades basadas en este enfoque como solución al problema de investigación.	es_ES
