| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación trata sobre las interacciones farmacológicas entre antihipertensivos orales y AINES de uso odontológico en pacientes hipertensos. La hipertensión arterial es una afección crónica que se caracteriza por el constante incremento de los valores de la presión arterial. En Ecuador posee un índice de prevalencia de 9.3%; afectando mayormente a hombres. En odontología la molestia que habitualmente presentan los pacientes, es el dolor somático y los antiinflamatorios no esteroideos son considerados como la primera alternativa para su tratamiento. Objetivo: determinar las interacciones farmacológicas entre antihipertensivos orales y AINES de uso odontológico en pacientes hipertensos. Materiales y Métodos: investigación con enfoque cualitativo, bibliográfico, y documental basada en el levantamiento de información de fuentes primarias y segundarias, de revistas científicas como: ELSEVIER, Mediografic entre otras revistas de sitios web. Método analítico sintético, histórico-lógico, empleando la técnica de revisión bibliografía; el instrumento de recolección de datos fue el listado de fuentes primarias y secundarias. Resultados: la revisión de estudios científicos muestra que los AINES inhiben el efecto farmacológico de los antihipertensivos, aumentando la presión arterial en un promedio de 5mmHg, exacerbando el riesgo de injuria renal aguda y duplicando el riesgo de nefritis intersticial aguda o glomerulopatías, por lo que su prescripción se evitará en pacientes hipertensos que reciban tratamiento farmacológico. Conclusión: se determinó que los antihipertensivos orales, manifiestan una disminución de su efecto hipotensor, al administrarse simultáneamente con los antinflamatorios no esteroideos (AINES) usados en odontología. This present research work deals with the pharmacological interactions between oral antihypertensives and NSAIDs for dental use in hypertensive patients. Arterial hypertension is a chronic condition characterized by a constant increase in blood pressure values. In Ecuador it has a prevalence rate of 9.3%, affecting mostly men. In dentistry, the discomfort that patients usually present is somatic pain and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are considered the first alternative for its treatment. Objective: To determine the pharmacological interactions between oral antihypertensives and NSAIDs for dental use in hypertensive patients. Materials and methods: research with a qualitative, bibliographic and documentary approach based on the collection of information from primary and secondary sources, from scientific journals such as: ELSEVIER, Medigraphic, and other website journals. Analytical-synthetic, historical-logical method, using the technique of bibliographic review, the data collection instrument was the list of primary and secondary sources. Results: the review of scientific studies shows that NSAIDs inhibit the pharmacological effect of antihypertensive drugs, increasing blood pressure by an average of 5mmHg, exacerbating the risk of acute renal injury and doubling the risk of acute interstitial nephritis or glomerulopathy, so their prescription should be avoided in hypertensive patients receiving pharmacological treatment. Conclusion: It was determined that oral antihypertensives show a decrease in their hypotensive effect when administered simultaneously with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used in dentistry. | es_ES |
