| dc.description.abstract | La gingivoplastía es un proceso quirúrgico que conseguimos remodelar la encía mediante un contorneado para la eliminación del crecimiento excesivo del tejido gingival por causa del tratamiento Ortodóntico; para obtener exposición de los dientes y lograr una sonrisa estética con una proporción ideal entre dientes, encías y labios, respetando la línea mucogingival. Este procedimiento está indicado cuando el surco gingival es más de 3mm de profundidad y el paciente cuenta con suficiente encía queratinizada, cuando existe dientes pequeños, también cuando hay pérdida ósea horizontal. La gingivoplastía está contraindicada en aquellos pacientes que cuentan con una higiene oral pobre, presencia de bolsas, raíces del diente muy cortas, que sean inmuno-suprimidos, que tengan encía fibrosa, engrosada y protuberante generalizada o lesiones periodontales que sobrepasan la línea mucogingival. El tiempo de la recuperación total es de 4 a 6 semanas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The gingivoplasty is a surgical process that we reshape the gums by contouring for the Elimination of the excessive growth of the gingival tissue due to orthodontic treatment; to obtain exposure of the teeth and achieve a cosmetic smile with an ideal ratio of teeth, gums and lips, respecting the mucogingival line. This procedure is indicated when the Groove gingival is more than 3 mm of depth and the patient has with enough gum keratinized, when there teeth small, also when there is loss bone horizontal. The gingivoplasty is contraindicated in patients who have poor oral hygiene, presence of bags, very short tooth roots that are immuno-suppressed, or having widespread fibrous, thickened and protruding gum or periodontal lesions that surpass the mucogingival line.
