dc.description.abstract | En la Parroquia Noboa del Cantón Veinticuatro de Mayo, Provincia de Manabí se evaluaron un total de 278 bovinos se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: 133 casos positivos a parasitosis gastrointestinal 48% de los cuales el 50.72% son machos positivos y el 46.89% son hembras positivas. Y el 52% casos negativos a parasitosis gastrointestinal. El 48 % de los animales dieron positivos a nematodos gastrointestinales empleando el método de flotación de casos positivos y directo con un 0%. En cuanto a los tipos de nematodos encontrados tenemos el de mayor porcentaje el Haemonchus Placei, 60.90%, seguido del Strongyloides con el 15.79%, seguido por el Oesophagostomum sp. y Cooperia ambos con el 9.77%, y el de mejor prevalencia el Haemonchus Contortus con el 3.76%. En lo que se refiere a la edad de los animales con mayor prevalencia parasitaria se demostró que fueron los de 1 a 3 meses de edad con el 66.67%. Los animales con menor prevalencia parasitaria fueron los que bovinos mayores a 12 meses de edad, con el 24.49%. Se concluye que existe significancia estadística en las distintas variables evaluadas, por lo que se acepta la hipótesis planteada en el estudio, recomendando un mayor seguimiento y control de esta patología. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | In Canton Parish Twenty Noboa de Mayo, Manabi Province a total of 278 cattle were evaluated the following results were obtained: 133 positive cases of gastrointestinal parasites 48% of which 50.72% are positive males and 46.89% females are positive . And 52% negative cases to gastrointestinal parasites. 48% of animals tested positive for gastrointestinal nematodes using the flotation method and direct positive cases with 0%. As Nematode types have the highest percentage of the Haemonchus placei, 60.90%, followed by Strongyloides with 15.79%, followed by Oesophagostomum sp. and Cooperia both with 9.77%, and the prevalence of Haemonchus contortus better with 3.76%. As regards the age of the animals with the highest prevalence of parasites it showed that were 1 to 3 months with 66.67%. The animals were less prevalent parasitic which cattle over 12 months old, with 24.49%. We conclude that there is statistical significance in the variables evaluated, so the hypothesis in the study is accepted and recommended greater monitoring and control of this disease. | es_ES |
