dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this work is to establish the use of social networks and digital platforms as a tool for learning English in eighth grade students of the "Nobel" educational unit during the 2022-2023 school year. The modality used is of a mixed nature, making use of qualitative and quantitative instruments. According to the results of this research, it is possible to notice that students are interested in intrinsic learning through social networks in such a way that 72% of the students who applied English learning in contribution with social networks and websites are able to learn effectively since they integrated digital social network platforms for their benefit. In addition to this, they also lack grammatical structure, preventing them from advancing their ability to write or compose texts.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo tiene como finalidad establecer el uso de las redes sociales y las plataformas digitales como herramienta para el aprendizaje del inglés en estudiantes de octavo grado de la Unidad educativa “Nobel” durante el ciclo escolar 2022-2023. La modalidad que se emplea es de carácter mixto, haciendo uso de los instrumentos cualitativos y cuantitativos. De acuerdo a los resultados arrojados en esta investigación, es posible notar que los estudiantes están interesados en el aprendizaje intrínseco a través de las redes sociales de tal manera que el 72% de los estudiantes que aplicaron el aprendizaje del inglés en contribución con las redes sociales y sitios web son capaces de aprender de manera efectiva ya que integraron las plataformas de redes sociales digitales para su beneficio. Adicional a esto, también carecen de estructura gramatical, impidiéndoles un avance en su habilidad de escribir o componer textos.	es_ES
