Resumen
En este trabajo de investigación se realizará un diseño de un prototipo utilizando
tecnología IEEE 802.15.4, con el objetivo de monitorear la actividad fluvial en el malecón
del Cantón Daule a través del uso de sensores de nivel de agua, humedad del suelo y lluvia,
y así prevenir inundaciones que trae como consecuencias pérdidas económicas, materiales
y humanas.
En la implementación, se utilizaran microcontroladores Arduino, Sensores
medioambientales y la tecnología Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4) para la comunicación
inalámbrica entre nodos. Cuyos nodos son el nodo sensor y el nodo coordinador, donde
este último será el encargado de enviar los datos recibidos del nodo sensor a la nube
mediante el uso de un módulo WIFI, y así poder integrarlo con la plataforma IoT
Thingspeak para el almacenamiento y visualización de los datos obtenidos en tiempo real,
con la finalidad de que las autoridades puedan tomar decisiones de manera rápida para la
prevención y alerta a la sociedad Dauleña.
In this research work we will design a prototype using IEEE 802.15.4 technology, with the objective of monitoring the fluvial activity in the seawall of Daule Canton through the use of water level, soil moisture and rain sensors, and thus prevent flooding that brings as consequences economic, material and human losses. In the implementation, Arduino microcontrollers, environmental sensors and Zigbee technology (IEEE 802.15.4) will be used for wireless communication between nodes. Whose nodes are the sensor node and the coordinator node, where the latter will be responsible for sending the data received from the sensor node to the cloud through the use of a WIFI module, and thus be able to integrate it with the IoT Thingspeak platform for storage and display of data obtained in real time, in order that the authorities can make decisions quickly for prevention and warning to the Dauleña society.
