El aprendizaje significativo para fortalecimiento de la conciencia ambiental en la enseñanza de la ecología.

Resumen
La presente investigación abordó como problemática educativa en concientizar acerca del medio ambiente. Tuvo como objetivo analizar la importancia del aprendizaje significativo mediante el uso de las estructuras cognitivas para el fortalecimiento de la conciencia ambiental en la enseñanza de la Ecología. Se utilizó un enfoque metodológico cuantitativa-cualitativa o también denominada investigación mixta, tipo no experimental, transversal y con un diseño descriptivo, se aplicó métodos teóricos como el análisissíntesis. Como técnica se utilizó la encuesta y entrevista, donde se recopiló información a través de cuestionarios como instrumento de evaluación, lo cual fue aplicado la encuesta a 51 estudiantes y entrevistas, una aplicada a la Rectora y un docente de biología. A partir de los resultados se constató la necesidad de reforzar conocimientos de cómo se debió concienciar para un cuidado al entorno, por lo cual se elaboró talleres de capacitación enfocados a la educación ambiental integrando aprendizaje significativo en el tercero de bachillerato en la Unidad Educativa Técnico Industrial Benjamín Franklin, como propuesta se logró organizar y promover la participación de los estudiantes en prevención, protección y conservación al medio ambiente.
The present investigation addressed as an educational problem in raising awareness about the environment. Its objective was to analyze the importance of significant learning through the use of cognitive structures to strengthen environmental awareness in the teaching of Ecology. A quantitative-qualitative methodological approach or also called mixed, non-experimental, cross-sectional type and with a descriptive design was used, theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis were applied. As a technique, the survey and interview were used, where information was collected through questionnaires as an evaluation instrument, which was applied to the survey to 51 students and interviews, one applied to the Rector and a biology teacher. Based on the results, it was verified the need to reinforce knowledge of how to raise awareness for caring for the environment, for which training workshops focused on environmental education were developed, integrating meaningful learning in the third year of high school in the Educational Unit. Industrial Technician. Benjamin Franklin, as a proposal, it was possible to organize and promote the participation of students in prevention, protection and conservation of the environment.
