Resumen
El sistema educativo ecuatoriano se rige por los principios de unidad,
equidad, secuencia, flexibilidad y permanencia; en la perspectiva de
una orientación democrática, humanística, investigativa, científica y
técnica, acorde con las necesidades del país. La Universidad tiene
como misión la formación integral de sus estudiantes a fin de garantizar
un egresado culto y docto, con competencia profesional capaz de
desarrollarse óptimamente en el campo laboral. La formación integral
se define como un proceso educativo continuo que partiendo de una
concepción amplia del ser humano, procura el desarrollo armónico de
sus diversas capacidades en favor del bien común. De esta manera, la
Universidad se propone que sus estudiantes perciban el desarrollo
científico y tecnológico en el ámbito del proceso social y económico
que lo ha hecho posible, del ambiente natural que modifica y de las
consecuencias humanas que comporta .Es por esta razón que es
necesario que el docente universitario sea transformado en un tutor
eficiente aplicando estrategias metodológicas y técnicas innovadoras
con métodos apropiados en el desarrollo de la cátedra que lleven al
estudiante a despertar interés en lo aprendido y una correcta aplicación
de los conocimientos a través de la práctica, convirtiéndose el profesor
en un docente de calidad.
The Ecuadorian educational system is governed by the principles of unity, equity, sequence, flexibility and permanence; from the perspective of a democratic, humanistic, investigative, scientific and technical guidance consistent with the needs of the country. The University has as mission the integral formation of students ensuring a graduate cult and solid, with professional skills can develop optimally in the labour field. Integral training is defined as a continuous educational process on the basis of a comprehensive human vision seeks to the harmonious development of their various capacities for the common good. Thus the University intends that their students receive the science and technology in the field of social and economic process that has made it possible, natural environment that changes and the human consequences that entails is for this reason it is necessary that the University teacher is transformed into a tutor to efficiently implement methodological strategies and innovative techniques with appropriate development Chair that lead students to arouse interest in what they learned and proper application of knowledge in practice, methods development becoming the teacher in a teaching quality.
