We try to ease the learning process with different kind of games likje spelling, odd one out, mime, drawing dictation, listening activities, identify the carácter, the press conference, and so an. If we motivw the students, they will love the second language and the teacher. This Project is justified with the theoretical frame, the foundations, the bibliography. Also it has the result of this research, the consequence, the conclusions and recommendations that were used in the design phase and the application of a guide included vocabulary and grammar exercises. Lastly, the learning process will be easier by using this enjoyable material.

- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoTo improve the pronunciation of basic english to students of the 7th grade of Public School República de Francia(Universidad de Guayaquil. Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación., 2015) Castro Moran, Paulo; Macias Peñafiel, Leslie; Soto Barrera, JoeVocabulary is the most essential tool when it comes to language learning, and I mean any language. Words and their significance are what everyone needs in order to manifest oneself in any of the skills a language has, listening, speaking, reading or writing. Without vocabulary, you cannot produce nor learn a language. Vocabulary is the fuel needed to start the language engine. Otherwise, you are at a stop and no production is carried out. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to put this booklet into use with updated vocabulary and innovating activities in the classroom to enhance language learning in students from the seventh grade. Games is another major factor which also plays an important role when it comes to learning. It has been proven that games are the portal that opens up the mind and carries out the learning process at its peak, creating the mind to be at a learning stage adapting every detail of information and processing it with sound meaning and reasonable understanding. Games are the source for learning due to the major effect ludic activities have in the growing process of the brain. Many manufacturers are concern with toys as educational means for children in their brain and corporal development. Mattel is one of the leading toy manufacturers in such category, so it’s Hasbro and others to mention. Games are of the most importance in learning not just language, but also to develop basic, objective, actual and potential intelligence along with reasoning logic or non-logic.

- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoInfluence of the sentences structure in the Simple Present to improve the Linguistic competence in writing activities in teaching the English language(Universidad de Guayaquil. Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2015) Flores Basantes, Yadira Alejandrina; Veintimilla Ronquillo, Alberto Aurelio; Donoso Noboa, GaloWhen it is about grammar, there are so many ways that teachers can approach it and have students relate to it, but starting with the basic tense it is the most appropriate way of doing so. Structure of a language is very important to learn it if students are to use it right and with confidence. It is a very unwanted burden to bear when it comes to grammar learning. It is undesirable even in students‘ first language (L1) now imagine how unattractive it is for students to learn it in a foreign language. Just like any other language in the world, English is also based in structure and it is the skeleton of its meaning and substance. English is a living language. However, its grammar and sentence structure will not change ever. It is established already in its form, so it is not changeable. The simple present tense is the first step in the tense realm. It is the basic sentence and the easiest one to learn because it can be related to the everyday things people do, the basic routines people do and general truths. Students can easily follow the structures in a simple present tense sentence because the first thing in the sentence can be the subject or the pronoun if the teacher uses that type of example. There are many ways to use the simple present tense like using imperatives and other structures. The simple present tense is the most used in language learning and the one that students can communicate with other students and peers. Students need to leave High School with an A1.1 level of proficiency according to the CEFR (Common European Framework Reference) and that is a basic knowledge of the language that gives students the ability to introduce themselves and others, provide personal information about their home and belongings to people that know them as long as the interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly.

There is thus an essential interaction between language and thought in reading. It is also a complex interaction between the text and the reader which is shaped by the reader’s prior knowledge, experiences, attitude, and language community which is culturally and socially situated. The reading process requires continuous practice, development, and refinement. Critical thinking as well requires the ability to recognize problems, to find workable means for meeting those problems, to gather pertinent information, to recognize unstated assumptions and values, to comprehend and use language with accuracy, clarity, and discrimination, to interpret data, to evaluate arguments, to draw warranted conclusions and generalizations, to put to test the conclusions and generalizations at which one arrives, to reconstruct one's patterns of beliefs on the basis of wider experience, and to render accurate judgments about specific things and qualities in everyday life. For that reason we decided the following topic for our educational project: Critical Thinking Development through Reading Comprehension Strategies and the proposal: Application of a Booklet with Motivational Techniques and Exercises because we wanted to determine the incidence of applying reading comprehension strategies and motivational techniques to promote critical thinking on the students of 7th grade of basic education at escuela fiscal mixta “ANA JOSEFINA SALAZAR DIAZ".

- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEffective reading strategies to enhance the speaking skill(Universidad de Guayaquil. Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2015-05) Lindao Ontaneda, Miguel Antonio; Torres Vivar, VicenteThe roles everyday activities and social environment play in the educational process became important concerns for John Dewey and L.S. Vitgosky. Eventually, they shared similar ideas concerning the relationship of activity and learning/development. However, in recent days new schools studies in educational field concluded that these two theorists were far apart in their conception of the relationship between process and goals in education. Dewey believes that “It is the ability of the individual to question through experience that is most important for the human community”. In other words, he concentrates more in the means of finding paths to achieve goals in education. Vygotsky, despite of recognizing the importance of (especially cultural) process in education, sees social and cultural goals as being integrated into social pedagogy. This project intends to emulate Dewey and Vygotsky on the two key points that relate directly to educational processes and goals. We will try here to integrate both conceptions. First the role of social circumstances and the tools we will try to produce and implement to achieve a goal that will allow my pupils overcome the situation detected. I will try to create a set of malleable tools, strategies practical aids that will be used in real and present circumstances. As Vygotsky, I believe that my tools will have a far more lasting impact on the social community within which my students interact. As Dewey, I see the children as free agents who will achieve goals through her own interest in the activity. As mentor of the students of eighth grade at “Colegio Francisco Huerta Rendón” I will establish greater control by creating activities that will lead the pupils towards mastery. These differences will be explored in terms of how they might impact their actual classroom strategies and curriculum.
